區區都有小白鷺，每年有些季節又多咗小白鷺，您想知道佢哋會飛去邊度嗎？
為了進一步了解鷺鳥遷徙習性及有效地管理濕地生境，以致惠及更多雀鳥，我們自2017年獲漁農自然護理署發准許證，首次為香港的鷺鳥安裝｢定位追蹤裝置」，進行鷺鳥追蹤研究。研究資料有助我們保育有相類似生境的濕地，及於濕地棲息的雀鳥。

Little Egret is a common bird species and you may find them everywhere in Hong Kong. During some seasons, you may find some more Little Egrets, do you wanna know where they came from and where they were going? For a better understanding on egret’s migratory pattern, characteristics and the utilization of habitat in inner Deep Bay area, Hong Kong Bird Watching Society was permitted by AFCD since 2017 to conduct egret tracking by first-time using GPS-logging device to study the movement of Egret. From the research results, it is invaluable for us to formulate better habitat management, especially the conservation of fishponds.
